“ Heyyyyyyyy you guyyyyyyyyyys! Today I explored, this Mexican tequila bar. This place has such a great esthetic. We started with the trio ceviche and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were bright, fresh, and all around fantastic! Next we opted to share chicken fajitas, Another burst of flavor freshness, served hot, fresh with a side of fixings that's matched. They are a tequila bar as well. The atmosphere was quiet, but the potential to make this your favorite neighborhood Mexican spot is endless. If you have been wondering about them, wonder no more. Go check them out! They have outdoor seating as well. Let's eat! ”
“ Coyoacán is a great little Tex Mex spot! It's moderately priced, and a good spot for a for a date! The drinks are good and strong and the food comes out pretty quick on most nights. I have tried a few things on the menu, and nothing has really disappointed! I usually end up with Birria tacos, and it always hits the spot. The staff are friendly and always keep your drinks full! They can get pretty busy with families on the weekends, so be aware if that's not your thing ”
“ 4 stars for an excellent brunch. I was surprised this place wasn't busy for brunch on Saturday which worked in our favor as we got our food really fast. Brunch is served from 11 to 3; they have a lot of drink specials from margaritas, frozen or on the rocks, to sangria, mimosas and mimosas flights! It was really hard to pick a dish because they all sounded yummy from the description we got and from the menu. I ordered the steak omelet Mexicano and it was fabulous. The omelet was full of bold flavor; the steak was cooked to perfection, the pico de gallo was marvelous and the omelet was tasty. I added a bit of hot sauce (chulola) and it made everything even tastier. I definitely will be back to try some of the other brunch dishes as well as the mimosa flight. ”
“ KUDOS to the entire staff for providing supreme quality customer service! I ordered the flan for $7.50, and it was delicious ! The staff was very helpful and friendly! The ambiance was upbeat and music jamming! I highly recommend all to come and visit to support this local business! ”
“ Decided to try a new spot for Taco Tuesday and Coyoacán was the winner. It was also trivia night.Their specials weren't anything we were too excited about: 3 chicken or beef tacos for $8, so we ordered off the menu, which is pretty extensive. Of course we started off with chips, salsa and drinks: Mexican Mule and Paloma Negra, which was surprisingly good! Everyone can't make a good Paloma. This one has activated charcoal, which gives it grayish color. We ordered the ceviche with a trio combo of shrimp, mahi, and octopus. It was a little heavy on the lemon, but still really good and fresh, with mango bits on top to give it a little sweetness. We also got the street corn, which was pretty good as well. They provide the option of off the cob for 50 cents extra. Lastly, we got the shrimp tacos on corn tortillas, which I always appreciate the option for. The shrimp was cooked well, but not overcooked. They were good, but nothing about them stood out. Our server was great, and very attentive. The manager was intentional about checking in as well. They have a great environment that is family friendly. It's ideal for large groups as well. Since it was trivia night, it made for a more engaging experience. It was overall a great dining experience, and I'd definitely go back, maybe for brunch. And gotta try their guac! ”
“ Trivia & Taco Tuesday was a blast! Great specials most days of the week and flavorful drinks - will come back! ”
“ We visited Coyoacan Cocina & Tequila for taco Tuesday. The restaurant was well decorated and had a relaxing atmosphere. It was not busy when we arrived, but we had to wait for someone to come out to seat us. That was fine. Our waitress was really nice. She grabbed drinks and checked on us regularly. I got the tamale with pork and red sauce, which comes with beans and rice. My sister got the Baja fish tacos. Of the two, the fish tacos were our favorite. Everything was good, even the chips and salsa. I'd definitely return for more! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review is because I felt the service could use just a little refining. Again, no host/hostess was there when we arrived and we stood awkwardly for a bit until someone saw us. When our waitress took orders, she did it by memory. Plenty of places do that, but she kept forgetting what we asked for and had to come back to ask us again. It wasn't busy, so it wasn't bad, but it did delay our food getting put in and was a bit repetitive. Eventually she got a note pad, but I feel like that should be standard practice just to make it easier for everyone. The staff was super nice and made every effort, it just felt like they could use some practice. We'll definitely come back! ”
